How can the number of spaces indented for subtasks be changed in Project? The
current indent moves the taks to the right 5+ spaces, where if it was two
spaces the indent would still be visible while conserving horizontal real
estate.

Hi,

I don't thinks this is possible :-(
An alternative I sometimes use is to, in Tools, Options, View
- to uncheck "indent tasks"
- to check "Show Outline number"

This has about the effect you look for

Hi kingdg,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

There's no control over the indent spaces. You could remove the indentation via Tools/Options.../View tab. Then you could make the summaries more obvious by changing font, colour, size, underline, etc.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
